Variable Darner

Variable Darner
$110.00
What a surprise to find this beautiful specimen hanging on to the back gate of our yard for several days.
Measuring about 4” long, my research points to this animal being a Variable Darner, Aeshna interrupta, a wide-spread dragonfly species. I can find them back home in NH, too.
Like the magic they seem to possess, it was here one day then, poof! The dragonfly was gone.
What was left behind in my memory (and photos) is the color. Oh, the color!
This piece will be signed and removed from the book when it is purchased. Until then, it will remain part of my Alaska journals.
