Watercolor 8x10” Framed

When I lived in Exeter I would hike the woods all the time with our dog, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends and their dogs. On occasion, I would take my paints and sketchbook to these woods. I would sit on a sunny boulder alongside a beaver pond and soak up the warmth first, then set about working in my sketchbook. This watercolor sketch represents one of those days in a gem of a place in a small New England town where a piece of my heart will always remain.
