Turnagain Arm and Kenai Mountains

Turnagain Arm and Kenai Mountains
$125.00
Driving down Seward Highway, aka Hwy 1, you can see the continuation of the Chugach National Forest across Turnagain Arm on the Kenai Peninsula. They are quite a landscape to take in during any weather conditions.
The second half of summer 2022 was rain. Pretty much all rain, every day. This provides ample opportunity to play with the interaction of mountains and clouds!
I learned quickly, if I am going to paint the landscapes and wild residents here, I can’t let the weather deter me. Finding ways to do my work here is sometimes a challenge but so worth the effort.
This painting is a result of not letting the constant rain be a block.
