I lived in the Mt. Washington Valley for a short time. Seeing the summit of Mt. Washington nearly every day, watching it shift in and out of clouds or on a bluebird day, was such a treat.

I spent a lot of time sketching and painting it from all sides, and I painted it from other summits along the Presidential Range, too.

This piece was done from the valley on a chilly n mid-Autumn day. Not quite a bluebird day, but still clear and bright.

Mt. Washington always feels like home.
