Watercolor 11x7” Unframed

I had the great good fortune of a week-long residency at the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Highland Center Lodge in 2018. I mostly focused on en Plein air painting that week. I hiked and painted, painted from indoors, painted on the grounds immediately surrounding the center, met lots of visitors from all over. One visitor turned out to be a very good friend and colleague with the author of a book I illustrated years before! This work was painted right from the meadow in front of the center. You might even recognize it if you stood there yourself!
