The set includes Snowy Egret, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, American Avocet and Great Blue Heron. Wading birds hunt for food while wading in shallow water. American Avocet, while also considered a shorebird, wades in the shallows of saltwater looking for aquatic invertebrates. The herons and egrets are fresh- and saltwater waders, their diet varies with the habitat.
