Back to a favored spot to view the breadth of the Presidential Range of northern New England offered yet a different look and feel to this mountain range. Compared to a similar painting done in summer, a completely different palette was required to capture the harsh coldness of the alpine environment. Mt. Washington and its neighboring peaks have so much to offer the adventurer and artist in each of us.
