Even in May, the peaks around Anchorage, AK can be covered in snow. Working with a size 16 mop brush, I focused on the areas where I saw rock, connecting those individual shapes to create a section of mountain range found on the Kenai Peninsula, seen from Mt. McHugh looking south across Turnagain Arm.
