Sketching from Specimens: Nature Drawing Class

  • Tin Mountain Conservation Center 1245 Bald Hill Rd Albany, NH 03818 USA (map)

Let’s explore what’s in the drawers! Turtle shells, skulls, insects, and more. Even mounted specimens can be accessed in this class. Drawing what we see in nature is one of the best ways to connect with nature. But what’s it like to see and feel an animal’s skull up close?  Or a bird’s toes? This workshop is an opportunity to touch, feel, and hold some natural artifacts that we wouldn’t be able to handle, or shouldn’t, in an outdoor, live setting. This workshop is open to anyone with an interest in drawing and nature, no experience required
